In just 5 songs, local group BowTie manages to show the listener what they're all about. The EP, Sequins, is superb modern alt-pop with angelic voices and folky flourishes.Despite the contemporary feel, it's not over-blown or over-produced. You can feel the strong emotion in the vocals and the artistry of the instruments.
