New Matt Paxton CD: How the Land Lies

How the Land Lies, the latest CD from Hamilton son, Matt Paxton, features his exquisite voice, amazing acoustic guitar work and great songwriting abilities.

With cools songs such as Till the Sky Begins to Change, Charlotte (My Wild Valley Wind), and the title track, the disc is an impressive followup to his last album, Back in the Valley. As always, the music is very expressive and modern.

Matt is ably assisted by Steve McKay (of Bruce Peninsula) on Drums and Billy Holmes (of Hamilton's Dark Mean) on bass, banjo and organ. Great job everyone!

The disc is available at his slendid live shows and as a download at BandCamp.com. You may also want to check out, Dear Babe, a free MP3 downlaod not available on the CD (features Tim Gibbons on guitar)

Below are a few videos of songs from the CD.
